Stabilise
First we make gambling difficult. Blocking software, GAMSTOP registration, bank gambling blocks, and a realistic plan for debt and cash flow — usually inside the first two sessions.
Confidential one-to-one and family therapy for gambling harm. Online across the UK, or in person in London.
No waiting list. No judgement. Nothing shared without your consent.
20 minutes, free, no obligation. If free NHS or charity support is a better fit, we will say so and point you there.
Willpower alone rarely holds. Lasting recovery needs the money made safe, the triggers understood, and the people around you brought back in.

Then we work on why. Cognitive behavioural therapy maps the beliefs, urges and moods that drive a bet, so the pull becomes something you can see coming and answer.
Finally we repair. Trust with a partner, honesty about money, a life with enough in it that gambling is not the only thing that makes a Tuesday feel different.
Every programme starts with the same free intake call so you are never guessing which one you need.
Twelve weekly 50-minute sessions with the same therapist throughout. The core programme: financial stabilisation first, then the patterns underneath, then relapse prevention.
12 × 50 minutes · weekly · video, phone or in person
For people harmed by someone else’s gambling. Six to ten 60-minute sessions covering boundaries, money safety, and how to support without absorbing the damage. You do not need the gambler’s permission to come.
6–10 × 60 minutes · alone or jointly
Eight weekly 90-minute closed online groups of six to eight people, led by a therapist. For those with at least four weeks free of gambling who want the accountability of others doing the same work.
8 × 90 minutes · closed online group
Monthly check-ins once the main programme ends, plus a same-week appointment if a lapse happens. A lapse is information, not a verdict — and it is easier to interrupt in week one than in month six.
Monthly · open-ended · emergency slots held weekly
Send the form or call us. We reply within one working day and offer you a 20-minute intake call, usually within 48 hours.
A qualified therapist listens, asks a few structured questions and recommends a programme — or a free service, if that suits you better.
You are matched to a therapist and offered a regular weekly slot. Most people start within seven days of the intake call.
Every commercial gambling product is designed to return less than it takes over time. Near misses, fast rounds, free-bet offers and in-play markets are not accidents of design — they are the design.
That is not an excuse for anything, and it does not fix a debt. But it does change the question. The question is not why you were foolish. It is what has to change so the machine stops getting a vote.
Therapy is where that gets answered properly.

people who seek help do so because of someone else’s gambling, not their own. Family support is a programme, not an afterthought.

Gambling harm behaves differently from other addictions. There is no substance to detect, the damage is financial before it is physical, and the shame usually arrives long before anyone asks for help.
“I had told myself for four years that the next win would sort it. The first thing they did was help me make gambling impossible for a fortnight. That fortnight was the first time I could think straight.”

Yes. What you say stays between you and your therapist, held under UK GDPR and our professional bodies’ ethical frameworks. The only exceptions are the standard ones: a serious risk to your life or someone else’s, a child or vulnerable adult at risk, or a court order. Your therapist will explain these in session one before you decide to continue.
The intake call is free. Programme fees are fixed, published in full on our How we help page, and payable session by session or as a block. There is no contract and no cancellation penalty beyond 48 hours’ notice. If cost is the barrier, tell us on the call — we will point you to free NHS and charity services rather than let it stop you getting help.
No, and this is the most common worry we hear. You do not need to arrive already abstinent. Most people start therapy while still gambling; making that stop is part of the work, not a condition of entry. The only programme with an abstinence requirement is the group, and that is stated openly.
Yes. Our family and partner programme exists specifically for this and you can attend on your own. You do not need the gambler’s consent, involvement or knowledge to get support for yourself.
Book a free, no-obligation 20-minute intake call. We will talk through what is happening, answer your questions and tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
